Global Technical Systems ( GTS) - is certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) as an 8(a), Minority Woman-Owned, Small Disadvantaged Business and has a solid history of providing engineering and technical support services and products, including radar and sensor systems and technologies, integration of remote video surveillance, perimeter defense radar, unmanned ground sensor, and communications technologies. Our customers include the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), U.S. Coast Guard, Office of Naval Research (ONR), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and other Government agencies.

GTS provides program and engineering support services including: research, design, prototype development, program management, shipboard and shore-based technical support, installation, maintenance, and training. GTS maintains a complete depot-level repair and manufacturing facility with warehousing, obsolescence and full logistics support.

Established in 1997, GTS focused on engineering services and obsolescence refresh for electronic systems and components, specifically in the development of upgrades to existing radar and weapon systems, used by the US Navy, US Coast Guard, and US Special Forces. GTS entered into these areas of business in response to the Government' requirement for low-cost, quick turnaround support for components and systems that Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) no longer supported.

Responding to our customer market, GTS constructed a 46,000 square-foot facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia to house our rapidly growing Headquarters. The facility provides for state of the art R&D, Repair, and Manufacturing efforts.

From GTS' first project, the development of a replacement Time Volatile Memory (TVM) module for the AEGIS Weapon Systems Computers to a current R&D effort to develop a sophisticated storage area network for total weapons platform, GTS is committed in continuing its quest to providing timely, quality, innovative, and compelling products and services and at a significantly lower cost than the major defense suppliers.
