Experience
ARINC, a SeaPort-e prime
awardee in all 7 zones, offers extensive experience in successfully
managing large, omnibus, technically complex Navy contracts and
other military contracts similar in scope and content to SeaPort-e.
ARINC has provided
quality professional engineering and technical services to the
Department of Defense (DoD) since the 1950’s and has supported
various Navy organizations and programs for over 30 years.
The spectrum of tasking
to support SeaPort-e encompasses virtually all of the System
Life-Cycle Engineering (SLCE) disciplines, from cradle to grave,
which support NAVSEA system acquisition processes and programs.
ARINC pioneered the SLCE discipline in the 1960’s under contract to
the Air Force, and held a trademark on the SLCE technique for many
years. ARINC remains today’s premier company in SLCE disciplines,
and recommends approaches to our Navy and DoD customers that promote
efficiency and minimize Total Ownership Cost.
SLCE is the full spectrum of services associated with acquiring,
operating, and maintaining systems. Its principal elements are the
integrated application of:
Systems
Architecture
Systems
Acquisition Management
Systems
Engineering and Integration
Operational
Analysis and Engineering Disciplines
ARINC has used this
tried-and-true SLCE process to develop a proven set of engineering
policies and practices that have resulted in the successful support
of Navy and DoD customers across all 12 SeaPort-e product area
directorates encompassing 21 of 22 SeaPort-e functional areas.
